American eagle shoes.

*I want to say right now that I'm not affiliated with American Eagle or any of the other companies I bring up.
If you've read any of my previous blogs you'de see that I'm in love with American Eagle's shoes. They manage to combine quality, comfort, & beauty, and at the moment I'm head over heels for these baby pink, cream, and brown moccasins. There absolutely adorable. I think I'm gonna get a pair in black, dark brown, tan, pink, and that white. That may seem a little.. erm.. ridiculous.. but I think I've fallen in love with these shoes! I thought these shoes we're amazing and then I looked closer at the metallic/glitter detailing on the lacing of the shoes. I'm no longer in love with these shoes. I'm stalkery for these shoes. I'm that girlfriend that's so obsessed she calls you every twenty minutes and never stops texting, for these shoes. I want the jacket from Abercrombie I mentioned in a previous blog (Link HERE!) because its adorable and because it would look great with those chocolate brown moccasins. We're inviting my uncle & his family up to where we live for Thanksgiving dinner, and I think I know the outfit I want to where. These flats from American Eagle in Taupe, This dress from Pacsun, and this denim jacket from (where else?) American Eagle. I don't know, what do you think? I know this blog wasn't really giving you an outfit or anything, but I just wanted to post them to tell you about those AMAZING MOCCASINS. :)

Skirt, tights, & boots.

I can remember being 9 and wearing tights to my dance recital, and wearing them with dresses when I was a little girl, but I'de never imagine they'd be a common fall trend for teens and adults. The first time I saw boots, tights, and skirts together was here. I love the idea of a short denim skirts, polka dotted tights and knee high black boots. I put purple tights in this equation to add some fun. Even if purple tights may not be considered the most fashionable, who cares. Make it in style! You're still a teenager (unless your not.. and your reading my blog :P) and you can express yourself however you please. I'm so excited to get a pair of dotted tights and wear them with a denim mini. The ruffly black skirt in the top left corner would look ah-may-ZING with those dotted tights, or the purple ones.. or the patterned ones! I know this post wasn't as long as usual, but I just kind of wanted to give the main idea of the topic.. since I've written about 3 blogs in depth about a topic including links and pictures.

I ♥ Scarves. (SALE ALERT!)

There's nothing better than a good ol' scarf. Whether your grandma knitted it, or it was purchased at nordstrom for $50, you have to have a scarf! If paired with the right pieces it can make the perfect late fall/winter outfit.
Burberry scarf's are suprisingly (well, maybe just to me) expensive! The cheapest authentic burberry scarf I could find was a whopping $85, but if your interested you can purchase that here. Otherwise, I'm going to change the look a little bit with different scarves. The classic striped knitted scarf. How could you go wrong? Pair it with a blue sweater and you're warm... and stylish! If it's not quite cold enough for a heavy scarf, try the Light & Lofty scarf. Pair with any solid color shirt, and you're good to go. Aeropostale offers an adorable scarf, with a more classic winter print.
Uggs. Love 'um or hate 'um, there warm. I personally love Uggs and I'm asking for a pair this winter. I already own a pair in black, and there my prized possession. The classic short comes in many different colors, and keep your feet warm(especially if paired with fuzzy socks, just saying.) If you do decide to purchase these amazing boots, I wouldn't recommend them when its pouring wet outside or sometimes even just snowing. There not water resistant. But, I bought water resistant spray especially for sheepskin boots, and went to A waterfall about 6 months ago and my Uggs made it out the same as they came in. Uggs are a rather... expensive item, but many companies own similar looking boots. American eagle has a very cute pair.
I think I'm the only person out of my friends that loves moccasins. I mean, I really love moccasins. Once again, American Eagle has a  very cute pair, they even come in baby pink and cream! :) To me moccasins are just a warm way to wear flats, and there simply amazing. They make my feet look smaller (size 7 or so)and they keep them warm. I would definitly recommend a pair of moccasins in your closet this fall and winter!
The jacket in this set is rather expensive. Its available at Abercrombie & Fitch for $90, but is on sale for $60 at the moment! If you like the jacket and want one, I recommend getting one now, because I couldn't see Abercrombie putting something that cute on sale twice.
The last piece to the outfit is a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, a pretty basic article of clothing every girl owns.. or should own. My favorite pair is by Paris Blues, and there available at Marshalls. I never set foot in a Marshalls, and when i did I was amazed!! (: The pants were a mear $15 and they fit me more amazing then any other pants ever have. I've owned jeans from nordstrom, abercrombie, & hollister (this is when I went through my "I CAN ONLY SHOP AT EXPENSIVE STORES" phase.) and these are my all time favorite.

Let me know if any of this was helpful, what you liked, what you didnt... etc!

Neutral But Not. (Everyday School Look)

*So when I went to school (I do school at home), I would line my waterline in black wear black mascara, and put on foundation with no blush or bronzer, and a chap stick. Now, I had bad enough skin that I needed, or thought I needed, a full coverage foundation. With a tinted moisturizer you might be able to pull of not wearing blush or bronzer because your natural glow would shine through. If your wearing a full coverage foundation that's covering everything, that's making you one color, so I looked pretty ridiculous. At the end of the year and throughout the summer I began experimenting with makeup and I discovered a serious love for it. Makeup is about enhancing your natural features and making you look like the best you.You shouldn't look like a different person.  School can be some of the happiest.. and worst.. times of your life. You get to meet new people, experience new things, etc. You should look awake and energized, but still pretty. I'll show you how to do that, with less expensive and more expensive products.

School makeup look: Drugstore
My current obsession is this L'oreal quad in "Subtle Berries". This quad is about $7.15, and is amazing. Michelle phan did a video on the same product but in a different set of colors for her "School Picture Day Look". It brings out brown eyes and makes them pop, which is hard to do since there so dark. The reason I titled this "Neutral but Not" is because of this quad in particular. It's going to give you a neutral look... but not. When you look at your eyes you don't see pink right off the bat, or teal, like you would if you were wearing a smokey eye. Your seeing your eyes, which is what neutral eyeshadow should do. Pat on the first color in the top right corner, which is kind of a taupe. Next your going to put the white color in the top left color underneath your eyebrow and in the tearducts. This trick is called highlighting, and its going to make your eyes stand out. Now take the lighter berry color in the bottom left corner and put it in your crease. This not only adds definition, but a little bit of color. Now taking the tip of the sponge applicator it comes with, or an eyeliner brush, take the darkest and final color and run it along your upper lash line and lightly on the bottom is desired. You can also put this color in the outer corner for a slightly darker look.
To finish off the eyes, I suggest Covergirl's lash blast fusion. This mascara gives my lashes the perfect amount of length and fullness without looking spider like or goopy/clumpy. Most people I know use black mascara, but I use the "black/brown" in this color and theres not a big difference, except it looks a little more natural. But you could get whichever you prefer.
If you need a fuller cover foundation, I'de go with Revlon colorstay because at school, sometimes you don't have the time to fix your makeup and if applied correctly it will give you a very nice look. I either use my fingertips to apply this foundation because it will sort of melt the foundation for a more natural look. To have a better change of not streaking I apply this foundation with the Posh Foundation Brush. You could also use a cosmetic sponge to achieve that same look. If you don't need such a full coverage foundation, you could mix the Revlon Colorstay with your moisturizer or buy a tinted moisturizer. Many companies offer them, but I couldn't recommend any because I've never used one.
The blush I would use to give your face some life and color would be the L'Oreal true match blush in Bare Honey. Smile, and dust the blush on with a blush brush if you have one, or if your all out you could use your fingertips, just make sure everything's very evenly blended. Finish the look off with some chapstick, a lipstain, or a tinted lipgloss to make you look polished and ready for the day. (:
School makeup look: High end
For school days I think a quad or a trio of eyeshadow is the best way to go because you've got everything you need right there in front of you.I want to let you know now, I have never used a Lancome product. I do however watch Michelle Phan's youtube video's and she uses lots of Lancome and the outcome of her look is always very pretty and graceful looking. I know nothing about this palette except that I think the colors are gorgeous and would be flattering on any skin tone and any eye color. The high end eyeshadows I have tried and loved together are Bare Essentuals Cream soda, Rapture, and Tiger's Eye. The three color's are not available in a set, but a trio that is almost identical is the "Spring it on" trio. If you put the lightest color on the lid, the medium on the crease, and run the darkest color on your upper and lower lash line you will have a polished and gorgeous look for school.
Since we're going so neutral on the eyes, playing up your lashes is a great way to add definition, like what Quinn Fabray does in "Glee". The Clinique lash building primer paired with lash doubling mascara, makes your eyelashes long and voluminous.
I'm a huge fan of Bare Minerals makeup and getting the foundation in your shade (Get matched at a Bare Minerals store), warmth, and mineral veil, is going to make your skin look effortlessly flawless and glowy. You could also purchase the get started kit which comes with all three, and the eyeshadow trio I was talking about earlier, and several brushes. To read up on that click here.
High end products meet drugstore prices.
The Stila Travel Girl Palette in Pretty in Paris is a high end product, cheaper than a drugstore price. If you purchased 4 high end eyeshadows, a cream blush and a lip color, it could cost well over $70. Even purchasing those things at a drugstore you're spending at least $20. This Stila palette comes with 4 eyeshadows, and a cream blush that doubles as a lip color for $10! That's insane! A trio from Stila cost $28. Its the perfect palette for someone traveling or someone that has little time in the morning or wants something fast and simple.
I'm not affiliated with ANY of these companies.

Florals in Fall.

When I think of floral print I immediately think of some skirt from Hollister with bright colored flowers all over it that you would wear to the lake in Summer. Yet, I keep seeing florals in the magazines for fall, and I think the looks absolutely gorgeous, so I made a outfit using a floral skirt and a denim jacket, pared with black flats and a matching tanktop. Each item not passing 40$.

The tanktop is from Forever 21, costing about $7.50. The skirt however is from an European store that no longer sells it, but it was for about $8.50.
Forever 21 has an amazing selection of similar looking skirts. Although every piece of clothing is different and unique in its own way, there are similar pieces on the market. I picked two skirts from forever 21 that have the similar shaping, and similar patterns. This skirt has a similar shaping but is black, and the flowers aren't all over. If you look close enough the background is actually little black and white polka dots, which i think is such a clever touch. This one is a little shorter with a different type of shape, more structured looking, while the skirt in the set is more free and flowing. If you look closer, there's a bow tied in front of the skirt, which is a feminine and cute detail.

The denim jacket is from American Eagle for $50 and can be purchased here. I know money's tight for a lot of people, and sometimes $50 can't just be thrown down like that. I think that a denim jacket should be a must have in your closet, since there so versatile. If you want a less expensive denim jacket, I suggest this one from Forever 21 for about 26.50. They look very similar, and its almost half the cost. If you want a more vintage feel, this jacket is very cute, and has adorable detailing on the cuffs.

The flat's in the set we're also from an European shop, and there no longer available. These two flat's are similar and very cute and afforable. Look around at Target, Marshalls, Tj Maxxx, Payless, Walmart, or Forever 21 for fashionable flats with a cheaper price tag.

*A high end, and lower end school makeup look is my next post. Be looking for that!
